Reading this needs nothing. Starting a session needs a nickname, which takes about a minute and asks for no email address.
What it is
English draughts. Captures are compulsory, and a run of them is one turn.
How it plays

Move a piece one square diagonally forward, or jump an opponent to capture it.

If a capture is available you have to take it, and a run of jumps is a single turn.

Reach the far row to crown a king, which moves both ways. Take everything to win.
The details

- 2 players. The host can set the number in advance, or leave it open and close the door once everyone has arrived.
- How long
- About an evening of playing. The session itself lasts as long as the host sets, from an hour to a week, so nobody has to be at their phone at the same time.
