Dominoes
Match an end, or go to the boneyard.
Pick a nickname to play Sign in
Reading this needs nothing. Starting a session needs a nickname, which takes about a minute and asks for no email address.
What it is
The double-six set, a boneyard to draw from, and a hand nobody else can see.
How it plays
- 1
Each player draws a hand from the double-six set. Nobody sees anyone else's.
- 2
Play a tile matching an open end, or draw from the boneyard until you can.
- 3
First to empty their hand wins the round, and takes the pips left in everyone else's.
The details
- Players
- 2โ4 players. The host can set the number in advance, or leave it open and close the door once everyone has arrived.
- How long
- About an evening of playing. The session itself lasts as long as the host sets, from an hour to a week, so nobody has to be at their phone at the same time.
- Kind of game
- Board games
- Suitable for
- Anyone. Nothing in it that anybody needs to be warned about.
- What is kept
- Everything written in a session is encrypted, and the whole session is deleted when it ends. What that means.
