Chess
Tap a piece, tap a square. Take a week if you like.
Pick a nickname to play Sign in
Reading this needs nothing. Starting a session needs a nickname, which takes about a minute and asks for no email address.
What it is
The full game, with castling, en passant and promotion. Two players, in your own time.
How it plays
- 1
The full game: castling, en passant and promotion all work as they should.
- 2
Tap a piece, then tap a square. Only legal moves are offered.
- 3
Checkmate wins. Either player can resign, and a stalemate is a draw.
The details
- Players
- 2 players. The host can set the number in advance, or leave it open and close the door once everyone has arrived.
- How long
- About an evening of playing. The session itself lasts as long as the host sets, from an hour to a week, so nobody has to be at their phone at the same time.
- Kind of game
- Board games
- Suitable for
- Anyone. Nothing in it that anybody needs to be warned about.
- What is kept
- Everything written in a session is encrypted, and the whole session is deleted when it ends. What that means.
