Fleet
Five ships, one grid each, and no way to move them.

Reading this needs nothing. Starting a session needs a nickname, which takes about a minute and asks for no email address.
What it is
Hide five ships on your own grid, then take turns calling squares until one fleet is gone.
How it plays
- 1
Place five ships on your own grid. Once placed, they never move.
- 2
Take turns calling a square on the other grid. You are told hit or miss, and nothing else.
- 3
Sink every ship to win. You never see the other board until it is over.
The details
- Players
- 2 players. The host can set the number in advance, or leave it open and close the door once everyone has arrived.
- How long
- About an evening of playing. The session itself lasts as long as the host sets, from an hour to a week, so nobody has to be at their phone at the same time.
- Kind of game
- Board games
- Suitable for
- Anyone. Nothing in it that anybody needs to be warned about.
- What is kept
- Everything written in a session is encrypted, and the whole session is deleted when it ends. What that means.
